Default Prepping new bearings - HELP!

I have dismantled my new bearings, cleaned the grease out and they spin smooth and cleanly. Usually I will assemble them and put a drop or two of lube.

In an effort to free up my drive train, is there a better process for prepping my bearings?

Thanks in advance.

If its a car for carpet indoors, use lightweight oil, leave one seal off (the one to the inside preferrably) and you are done.
