Default How to fit hard case lipos on HPI Sprint 2 ??

Ok so I just purchased a hpi sprint 2 and tried to put my gens ace 2s 5000mah hard case lipos in there and they don't fit at all..I've been looking on google and searched different forums and haven't found an answer if there is any way to get the lipos to fit or I need to get soft case lipos?.

You would be better suited to use the rounded case lipo's. Peak Racing,Duratrax,Reedy,HPI all offer batteries in the round case that will fit the Sprint 2. If I am not mistaken most square hard case batteries under 4000 mAh will fit as well.

i cut a bearing onto the tensioner then flipped it under the belt so as not to rub removed the OE battery wings moved the top plate standoffs to the 6 cell position then clearanced the to plate for the belt to clear and made 2 carbon fiber c plates that mount to the chassis threw the original battery wiing mount locations to keep them from sliding
