XXX-S rubber set-ups
 

I run on a high bite carpet track (very nuch like trackside) and i can't seem 2 find a good setup for my XXX-S, its runnin on rubber tires. I would like 2 no wat is a good set-up and with what upgrades, any help is greatly valued

HK - The only upgrades I had on my X-S was the front swaybars, front one-way diff, and blue springs.

Had you posted this about 2 hours ago when I was home, I could have given you my old X-S Trackside setup. I just spent today prepping the car to sell. :p

I can PM you what I remember on the setup if you wish.

Heres my setup i used for a carpet race with CS-27's. I just had to go to a little stiffer sway bar in the front and a little stiffer spring. This should get you in a ball park. Check out Losi's site for Hodge's Trackside rubber setup (from 2003 I believe). It's a great starting point.

What is your car not doing? Echoing the other guys, Todds set-up is a great starting point.

the pic i have would be from the Snowbirds with a carpet setup with foams. Not rubber tires for asphalt
