bETTER ONROAD ASPHALT CAR

for ASPHALt what is a better car, a tc3 factory teAM OR A LOSI XXX-S GRAPHITE?

Comes down to personel preference, on ashphalt you don't really want a super stiff car unless the track has high grip, also associated have a new car out (tc4) and losi are going to bring out a new car soon (jrxs)

i dont think that the jrxs will be as good as other "asphalt" cars like the tamiya and xray because outdoor tracks usually does not have as much bite as indoor, less bite=more roll needed, since the design of the jrxs has all the heavy stuff in the middle it will have less roll. i would get the xray or tamiya for outdoor racing, they will also be very compeitive in carpet but i think the jrxs is really good for carpet racing

I've owned both the tc3 and xxx-s in the past. They're both excellent cars. For asphalt, I would choose the xxx-s. Reason being the enclosed drivetrain and the steering rack. The tc-3 steering rack gets hung up enough indoors on carpet, outdoors it's a nightmare. The exposed drivetrain on the tc3 can also be problematic outdoors especially on a dusty/sandy type parking lot surface...

Nice job fellas. Noone took this thread as a AE vs. Losi

Crazi is probably right. The 415 and FK are good for asphalt. The JRXS should be a great car on carpet since the tracks are usually more tight and twisty since indoor space is limited. I race an Xray Evo2 c-hub and my fellow racer used Tamiya 415. He beat my TQ time by 0.043 sec. And he won the A-main by about 0.5 sec. Both cars are equally nice on asphalt.
