Savox 1257TG works great, fast and perfect amount of torque, fairly priced too.

Default touring car servo

in my experience top pick for your budget is futaba bls-551,
futaba s-9551, sanwa sdx-801 . reliable , long lasting.

I would go with Futaba S9551. Smooth and durable

Savox - i dont know if i would go through the trouble i had to go with mine to get it working right especially when the Futaba is simply plug n play. I found out later that the Spektrum receivers arent big fans of the Savox servos. You need a glitch buster in order for it to work right. I had trouble with my Airtronics and the Savox too..maybe i got a bad servo i dont know.

I use Spektrum receivers and Sävox servos in 4 different cars without issues...

I like the Savox 1257TG. I use it in my JRXS Type R and Love it so far, it is fast and smooth. I do run a Glitch Buster with my Spektrum receiver though.

I am also an S9550/S9551 user. I've never had a Futaba digital servo fail in the 8 years in this hobby. I have half a dozen of them across 4 vehicles...
