i looked at pics of the TT01 earlier and didnt think some of the parts matched up right. i'll revisit it and some similar models and see, thanks!
also seems that the TT-01 has the motor on the left side and battery on the right. which is vise versa to this model

It's not a TT-01.
It's not an HPI E10 either (which is a lot like a TT-01). So I have no idea what it is, perhaps one of the no-name brands out of China.

that what i had thought at first, either TC3 or TC4, but the tub chassis doesn't have the correct "Holes" cut in the bottom to be either and if you lok at the upper front bulkhead thing you will also see the TC's are more arched.

Except theres differences between a TB02 on the driveshafts, hubs, arms, towers, gearbox casings etc.
Here's a TB02.
Compared to....
Its most likely to be a Chinese/Taiwanese copy of a TB02, built to a much lower spec. Still not worth buying.

looks like a copy then, hopefully the parts are exchangeable. i cant throw out $150 out right but i can do $15-20 here and there, eventually i'll have a true TB02. but hey, it'll get me on the track drifting with the locals. even if it doesnt, $15 isnt a very hard hit.

from what i have found it was a company called HBX and was a TB02 clone called "coolfire" from what i have found 99% of the parts are interchangeable, in fact some TB02 owners have used the HBX parts because if the cost difference,

I didn't look that hard to realize it was a clone.. Doh
Even tamiya tb02 is not worth restoring.
