When using the kit supplied bearing, you set it up per the manual. The one piece thrust bearing requires you to flip the washers since it does not work in the same way the kit bearing does.

If you want, put the thrust bearing together with the washers as the manual says. You will have terrible diff action.

I would be up for on road (F1, Mini, TC, WGT and 1/12) depending on your schedule. Sundays would be preferred.

Yes, I'm planning to be there at the Plex for TCS. I just got my f104 v2 and will need to dial it in for the track.

Is the version 2 chassis THAT much better, than the F60 kit for example ?
I know you get a bigger window for tuning (for better or worse) , but is this chassis as robust as the t-bar car ??
I'm running indoors, tight , textured surface concrete, 21.5 + rubber tyres.

Won't be buying for a few weeks, but trying to make the right decision !!

@Edhchoe,

You won't be dissapointed with this chassis, it looks not only good but it drives very good.
I've changed mine to a wide version and this car is very quick, we are using a tamiya 18T sensorless motor and it has a lot of acceleration power.
I was even able to keep up with a 1/12th pan chassis with a 10.5T boosted motor, not so bad if i may say so.

@Fleetmaster,

I've been reading that the weakness of this chassis would be the links, and many drivers changed them for associated ones but so far i haven't got any issues with the links.
I think it all depends on your driving skills, everybody does crash somethimes but it all depends on how big the impact will be.
