Just ordered the kit from the link above... I'd like to make sure that I understand everything else I need to finish the car.
Batteries, ESC, 21.5 turn motor, body kit with front and rear wing, receiver, transceiver(?)
Anything else you folks can think of?

Any suggestions on servos. From what I have read you have to cut off the sides of the servos to get it in the chassis. Is that still the case?

What's up guys new to the F1 scene. What's a pretty good 21.5 motor. I have a 21.5 reedy sonic that's coming with the car or is the kill shot 21.5 better. Also is my Reventon pro with 140 amps to much for this car? Also is the f60 body better then the Ferrari 2012 body aero wise?

It has been available for some time, but like most Tech Racing parts you will have to get it from Japan. I would suggest contacting Banzai Hobby to see if they can order it for you.
Anyone able to get this part anywhere?

I contacted Banzai but they could not source the parts.

We have 1person running the 2012 body and he has problem with the front wing rubbing on the carpet. He runs an Exotek front wing spacer under but he still has to run his car a mm higher than everyone else. I have no such problems with F60

thanks any suggestions on a 21.5 brushless motor im leaning towards the 21.5 kill shot but what are some of the motors you guys are running? Also is it better to run the high torque rotor 12.5 VS the 12.3 rotor? thanks

Tim keep that reedy motor no need to spend money on the latest motor. F1 is a handful to drive and having a torquier motor might not help as winter is around the corner. Last year we struggled for traction with brushed tamiyas motors when it was 50-60* out and foggy.

If you get a Killshot, get the torque stator with 12.3bb rotor. Unless you have tons of rear traction, I found the 12.5ht makes car twitchy on acceleration. I would definitely get Killshot over D3.5 21.5. The D3.5 13.5 and 17.5 are some of the best motors but for some reason the D3.5 21.5 isn't as strong like its sister motors, where as the Killshot 21.5 version is very good

Ran the car yesterday for the first time really like how it handles but I'm running a 96 spur and 35 pinion and I didn't feel a lot of punch just speed on the straight. So should I try a different combo I was thinking 88 spur and 30/31 pinion which sets at like 2.8/2.9, right now it's at 2.473 with 96/35. Also I'm running a Reedy 21.5 Mach 2 with 20* of timing. Any suggestions on FDR would help. Thanks. Also what are your thoughts on running the Justock esc cause it has a smaller foot print then what I have in there now which is a Reventon Pro (Speed Passion)
