Hi guys just thought about posting this here since you all have some f104 on your hands

I wanted to make a f103 with 237mm wheelbase for my Porsche GT2 shell but half way i thought: why not use a link suspension? It should be better right?

I got a picture in my album (since i cannot post it here, but if someone can to post it on my behalf i would appreciate)

The parts have not been modeled with extreme accuracy, just a representation of the layout, and the chassis shape will have to be adjusted, but i need some measures and i was hoping someone here could just jump in to my album and see what I'm asking about.

Thank's in advance.

How do You measure toe angle? What tools do I need?
Or can someone measure the correct link lenght for +1 when Tamiya alu servo horn, Tamiya ball adjusters and Tamiya metal uprights (middle hole) are used?

well had my first proper go with my f104 pro ver2 today very impressed out of the box how it goes!!only downfall was the plastic motor mount chewing through a spur but that is sorted and on its way also a few more goodies to help further tune this awesome car :-)

An educated guess would say, Pink are closer to AE Silver which is stiffer than AE Green, AE Black are quite soft

Hey guys, just got my v2 pro kit...any recommendations on necessary parts to replace during the build? I notice a lot of people buying the motor mount, is that all I really need or are there any other must have parts? And does it matter which body I run? I'm new to F1 but not the hobby and I'm super excited to get this car running!

Ironically, I have the same exact issue with my first running of the F104 v2. Anyone know if the older F104 alum motor mount will work, a good friend a the track had one he gave me, haven'r tried to fit it yet.

I don't think it does. I can't remember what didn't line up when i tried it, i think it was the top not lining up with the shock support more than anything else. What you need is the alloy motor mount parts for the RM01.

The old 104 mounts don't line up on the V2.
