Not sure when to pull the trigger on this one . Maybe once a few more options parts like front SPRINGS are available and hopefully the 180mm kit.

I really want one but my F1-09 will have to suffice for now

Quick question -
I am thinking about buying one of these. Does it come with tires? If not what should I get? Also, should I go 17.5 or 21.5?

Thanks

Yes, The kit comes with foam tires. Get the combo kit. It comes with a 17.5.

I've been dragging my feet finishing the car. Last night I set out to complete for test drive today. I freaking forgot about the 64 pitch pinion.
All I have is 48 and 32. Now I'm totally bummed . Why can't there be a 24hr drive through hobby shop. Two more hours before the store opens. Please,Please I hope they have stock.

has anyone had trouble with the diff on theirs???

i think i might have a defective bearing ( the one that goes inside the diff) because i cant seem to get the diff tight enough without stripping the plastic nut. It gets tightish , but slips so much its just not drivable. Have taken it apart to make sure i have it assembled several times but still its not tight.

I am using a kimbrough 48p spur , i wonder if thats my issue? Has anyone else used a 48p spur and had issuses with the diff?

I've had the same problem. the plastic nut was stuffed after about 10 minutes. I've replaced it with a TC wheel nut which tightens down nicely. Hopefully this won't stress other parts in the diff. I'm using the stock 64pitch spur with 23 pinion so don't think using 48p is the issue. I've been mucking around on a painted tennis court that is very high grip which could be the cause.

I did the same way as you describe with the F104 front end. It is perfect !!
Please I have two question :
- which body do you use with this version ?
- what are the brand of the white spings ?

thank you

PS. question is for Spring71 about his post from the fixing of F104 front end

Shouldn't make a difference. Just cut it out to suit the arms.......
From what I've read , you can swap for Tamiya shells or the FGX shell

Sorry I found your post late.

I am using tamiya McLaren body and the spring is CRC.

If you have f104 front , front body cut out is same but you need cut out more for the rear.

We've got more f113 parts this week.

Thanks.

I'm still waiting for the date about the 180mm conversion parts.

Thanks.
