Hello, I need help trying to Figure out which model this HPI is. Im not a road guy all Ive had has been off road.

That is an HPI RS4 PRO2. I had one in 1996.

Thanks, can you tell me more about the spur gear system it looks like a two speed system that im not familiar with.

That's HPI's 2 speed...most people took them off and just went with a single spur gear.

that two speed looks like it could be fun. set your brushless boost to kick in in second gear

the pro2 came out in 99. the rs4 was from 96, with a 3 gear to a belt drive, then the pro came out 1997, twin belt drive. the pro2 came out in early 99.

Aw, check! You are correct. It was 96 when I had the org RS4. Then I got the Pro2 99.

Thanks for the info guys, anyone care to take it off my hands. It looks to be in excellent condition. I even have it with a brushless motor and esc. No body included. Make me an offer.
