TC3 reversing wierd
 

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. My TC3 seems to be pulling slightly to the left when in reverse. Not so much that it actually turns the car but it will go straight and then when in reverse the whole car drifts over to the left.

I havent run it at the track since discovering this because I just noticed this last night. Could one of my rear wheels be loose?:tire:

You tell me, go try and tighten them up! Im not too sure what would cause it really, as i would have thought anything that wasnt built correctly would show up when driving it forwards, your not using excessive trim or anything?

no exessive trim...last time I raced it I was driving straight. and as far as I know I was reversing straight. I'm probably going to take it to the track today and see if there is something wrong with it while I am there, or if its just happening in my basement.

Hmm if i remember correctly, on home carpets due to how they are made and laid the car will pull to one side or crab. You dont get this problem on the layed carpets at tracks though obviously :)

Don't forget that when running in reverse, the caster would be backwards... When driving forward, the caster helps to contribute to a straight vehicle track...

You dont race in reverse anyway do you? ;)

and bad weight balance + toe out/toe in will affect too or preload

turns out that it must be something with the carpet at my house cuz it doesnt do it on any other surface. All the alignment and toe and camber/caster stuff should be good.
