why so?looks lighter than rubber easily. and you can lose the inner foams. and i dunno about if it happens to u guys but ive cracked a couple rims. these seem flexible that it might not crack. so more durablitiy is always a big plus. even if its not competitive durability is the first thing on most rookie's minds. was on mine. still is. and also, for the humongous truck tires, these just might be betterl.

I like it!!! I think it might have potential in RC. If not for racing, for fun stuff.

That Audi just looks so funky! Imagine - no flats! I think it's pretty damn cool.

For RC, I think it'd be pretty easy to do - you just need a mold to do the spoked part and another part of the mold to do the tread pattern. then mold it in different compounds or different thicknesses of the spokes. I'm sure Pro-Line could do something with this, and if not them one of the many dozens of Taiwanese companies.

eventually those spokes if you can call them that, will give out dont you think, like the picture of the tires on the bobcat or whatwever that was those spokes were taking some major stress, they cant take that for long

I think DOD will be more interesting about this than any body else. It's THE solution for wheel armor vehicle's major weak point: tires. Also it should be great for airforce too since you will never has a blowup tire during takeoff/landing.

Whatever invented, goes to military application first...

well they gots the money to useum and also make um better. well about the stress, i think its supposed to be bent inwards and stuff like that. its supposed to be a bit of cushion as theres no air/foam tire on it remember

Wow, that is some crazy stuff! These things completely take away from the BLING factor though. Will they come in 20's with a chrome finish??
