I blogged my build - http://fiveeight0sixsix.wordpress.co...uild-and-race/ - but I doubt you will have any difficulties. Parts quality and fit is basically excellent, no shims required.
Having said that, my car had a bad batch of screws (undersized heads) so I replaced a lot of them, I also had a burr on one of my spool cups which needed filing down. If you build with your eyes open you will notice things like that.
The only tricky part of the car for me has been the shocks. The bladder has to be seated in the cap before you screw the cap on (XRAY-style), and it can be quite tricky to build them consistently. Drilling the cap makes it worse. I've given up and gone to Tamiya shocks, although performance is very good from the kit shocks once you get them right.

Undersized head?
Do you mean the 2mm hex heads were too tight? If so I have built many different brands, not all 2mm are the same, I generally have a couple of drivers on hand, one worn a little, guarantees a tool for every job. I didn't have any screw issues, if anything the SS screws are quite nice. Go and build a new TOP then you will see bad screws
Re shocks, yes I have noticed the bladder has some issues, though I have not worked out a solution yet
