Try making sure that the clip is mounted so that the part where it goes into the barrel is facing forwards with the direction of rotation. That way, if it touches the inside of the knuckle, it'll just bounce off, no big deal. If it's the other way, the open end could dig into the plastic knuckle, and twist the whole clip off almost instantly.

Di you have to use force to install the clips? perhaps you bent them and are loose?

I have never had a clip fall off

Ronny, I cant believed this happened. I love ARC cvds and never had any problems with them. I have had xray ones break twice in one day with just tapping the wall. Wont be racing this weekend but would like to take a look at your car.

Wow, sorry to hear about the cvd issues with the clips. I've yet to have any issues with the clips on my cars.

Just make sure the clips are fully engaged and the hook end is recessed in one if the unused pin holes in the axle.

I'm guessing the hook end on your clip was protruding out because it was in the same hole as the pin which kept it from sitting flush.

If your interested in the ARC R10 - check out our shopviperrc site on black friday - that's all I am legally allowed to say!!!

BTW, did you know unlike other chassis out there ARC parts are available to every hobby shop in the US via HRP Distributing and/or Viper R/C. Have your shop contact me at nick.malato@viper-rc.com if they are not carrying ARC kits and parts -- we have some offers to stock their shelves!!!

I will let Norcal Hobbies know! Will it help my resume get pushed to the top from ARC?
