Can anyone shed light on this car in comparison to a T4?

I have the R10 and T4...
The T4 is very easy to drive out of the box but lacks the handling edge and corner speed needed to be really competitive, I'm still working on setup for more corner speed with my T4. Xray quality is top notch.

The R10 is a "racers car" out of the box, very agile and carries lots of speed in the corners. I've found myself making changes to the setup to reduce the edginess of the car, it has responded well. Quality is very close to Xray / Tamiya / Serpent.

One of our local racers favours his Tamiya 417's. He also bought an R10 and feels that it handles very similarly to his 417X.

If I had to choose between the two at this moment, it'd be the R10 because it's faster on the track.

Hope this helps.

It helps a lot. I appreciate the comparison! The Tamiya 417x was an awesome car for me also. One of my favorites so far. I was a bit worried as to how the car would drive, but I do believe you put them worries to rest. Thanks!

Thats what I meant. Width alone does not affect roll amount assuming CG doesn't change but obviously altering width does affect CG, which affects roll...

You were on pace in an spec r s-1, t3 12, top photon and faster than pace in my bd7 or t4. It doesn't matter what chassis you go with as you'll still be fast and competitive.

The way its designed, don't know if it would have the proper flex that looks to be designed into it. Unless you don't ever, ever crash -- I don't qualify for those types of parts

I think Nikos is right. There needs to be some flex especially when hard crashes but enough support against the bulk head to protect the top deck. On my previous cars like TCX and Tamiya, whenever i put the carbon fiber top bumper plate, the top deck would break in half on frontal collisions.

If the T4 is not competitive, why is this car winning so many races? Including making places 1,3 and 4 in the last ets round in stock class? Havent seen only one R10 in the A-Finals of this event....

Shipment is on its way, surely it will be announced when it arrives.

Josh was building up a new chassis with the cranks on them yesterday to run today. Car is working better for him all the time. Looking nice on track. Hopefully I will get some pictures and video put together today.
