Comparison study LRP TCM 2012 and VRC Pro Worlds Ronald Volker
We have compared Ronald Volker's laps at the LRP TCM 2012 with his laps at the LRP track in VRC Pro, the outcome was surprizing!
On the 2012 LRP TCM track, Ronald qualified about a lap faster than at the VRC Pro World 2011: 24 laps in 5:06.056 vs 23 laps om 5:09.810. That's 0.68 sec per lap faster! So where is the difference? Well, it actually turns out that the 2 chicanes are a lot easier this year (the VRC Pro track was modelled last year) and that's where this time was lost.
In the video below you can see that we have shifted the 'real car' video back so both cars cross the finish line at the end of the lap at the same moment. At the end of the second chicane he has already caught up with the virtual car, from there the cars run exactly synchronized.
Amazing study, you can check out the video:

That is sick
Now I want a laptop that is capable of playing the program so I can take it to work and practice during my lunch hour.
