I recieved one round aluminium suspension holder by mistake also. I just put it in a small hobby vice and filed a small flat spot on it.

In the end it actually fitted better than the factory ones!

Regards

Jason

Well, my missing o-ring is being sent to me. I checked a couple of local stores and none could help. In the end I purchased some ugly orange HPI ones that look like they might do the trick, hopefully they will permit me to finish the build and try the car out on Thursday night... (off to Toledo hobby show this weekend so its my only chance this week)

The Canadian XRay distributor (Korgae) is sending me the correct XRay O-ring, so by next week I should be all set and 100% XRay..

Was dissappointed to find the dished wheels in the kit, the XRay wheels have always been (IMO) some of the best looking wheels, perhaps one day I shall find some on the shelf in a hobby store.

Now to just find the right body to go with the new car...
Its a luxury model.. so that rules out stratus's, Alfas and Mazdas... Thinking perhaps 300M, G35 or a CTS.

Martyn.....shoot me a pm...I'll check my stash of leftovers from previous kits...

the only time I run on rubber is the TakeOff race at TORC ..and I've been using pre-mounts for that..I may be able to hook you up with some starbursts...

I've found this ceramic bearings on the ebay and wondering if anybody has experience with them in xray:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=25284

those are so cheap comparing to others that maybe there is a quality issue with them.
