Someone mentioned the (lack of) a battery brace?

Wow - stunning!

Xray has been working hard to fix any problems reported by the team from testing/racing. We should be more than happy to wait a few days since we know we will get a perfect car...

What has been discussed at length is that the battery brace will be available as an option part, it will not be included in the kit.

MR Jolly, wanna do the dance again?

Tony, everytime you confirm that, Mr. Jolly loses more hair!

So, how's the extensive instructions for how to tape the batteries coming along?

What about including a few rolls of the tape in the kit Since this will be the first time I will be using tape when I get my 05, What type of tape does everyone use and any suggestions?

seriously!
You use it for one run (maybe two if your lucky) and throw it away.
Why on earh would you spend money on any colored or specialty "RC" tape?
They truly have us pegged as Suckers.

This has been posted a few pages back:

48 pitch spur will be 87 tooth and 16 tooth pinion, not sure what this equates in 64 pitch.

I asked that on page 14.
Somebody said that 116t 64pitch was the same size as 87t 48p
So I assume that 116 would be the biggest you could go in 64p since that 87/48 already looks like a tight fit on that 05 frame.

I've got my FK05 kit sorted out now, should get it on the 21st at least, going to be dropping off a couple of kits before then which i dont use any more and dont have much value 2nd hand it would seem, and trading it in for the new xray when thats available.

Also ordered up a pair of KO VFS-1 esc's, one for the '05 and one probably staying in my B4, but if i hold onto my '04 then it could end up alternating between the 2 kits when needed.

Xmas came 3 months late (or 9 months early!)

The car looks awesome. May have to give Xray a try again. If they can get their parts availability problem fixed.

Later,
Well-you know the real problem with parts supply is dick'n buys 90% of the parts that come in the US. No wonder no one lese can get any. There will 3 fk05's at The Gate as soon as they are released. For once I am going to wait and see how they run instead of being the first to have one.
