4, flip the front diff around (and use a MULTI DIFF INSTEAD OF A STANDARD DIFF)

DOES this mean that i can use a multi in the fk04!!??? ...i think i might have to also flip the ecentric steering bearing holder thing the other way... I RECON IT WILL FIT!!!

Or you can just buy the Multi diff that fits the FK04. Part# 30 5103. They are making one for the older cars as well.

hope this helps.

It's a matter of taste. I hate taping in the batts on my 1/12th scale. It just gets old pretty fast and I always look for a better way to do things.

I'll snap a pic when I get home tonight.

Also, I use the old x-ray 6 cell strap without any problems. I just mount one end to the hole right next to the front tape slot and for the other hole I countersunk a spot right in the middle of the rear tape slot. It doesn't tweak the chassis and it is still an x-ray part and it sure doesn't look ghetto.

Should I post a picture?

make sure you are mounting the servo to the outside (towards the edge of the chassis) of the servo mounts. If there is still a clearance problem, just space it further out with a few washers.

Do you think it is rubbing against the horn?

I do have a worn out rear belt but I think it is coming from the belt rubbing against the pinion.

Any ideas people?
