Ok folks I am a novice here but looking for a battery pack for my older RC10. It currently has a Sanyo 7 cell 8.4 volts Ni-Cd hump pack. The charger i have is a GPE Ni-MH charger. The battery is now junk and i need a replacement for this, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any hobby shop that sells R/C should be able to fix you up with nimh packs. Stormer Hobbies lists Duratrax Onyx 6 and 7 cell packs from $15 to $40. I recently bought two 6cell Nicad packs to rebuild my cordless drill pack. $20 for a rebuilt 12V drill pack that has more power than the junk cells that it came with. Lipos have pretty well taken over the market, depending on what you want to spend you can upgrade to Lipo cells and charger. Good luck!!!
