ok-I think i got it. Xpress is the manufacturer-not the model. All I ever hear is my xpress this, my xpress that. Never anything about a model so I assumed xpress was the model. The web address is http://www.rc-xpress.com/

I have an Xpress MK3 and it's a killer car. The materials are top notch and its drivetrain is nearly friction free. Xcellent carpet car!!!

Oh yeah it's those cars that make really nice and expensive paperweights....LOL...cause they are fairly useless in the states, cause you can't get parts and if you can you have to morgage the house to be able to afford them.......

I've never had a problem getting a part. Ultimate Hobbies is the distributor. I can get them locally too. Although truth be known, I have had mine for over a year and haven't had to replace a thing!

All you have to do is call Ultimate Hobbies. If you can type on here you can dial a phone! They always have the parts you need and can get them to you in a couple days. A good racer keeps a few spares of the most likely to break in their pit anyway! By the way, I live in Kansas, not Cali. So the excuse of living on the East Coast doesn't hold up. Besides your inability to get parts doesn't reflect the quality of the car.

I used to own a Xpress as well. Ultimate hobbies always had any part I needed. A couple of times when I only needed a few cheap parts they actually sent them to me and billed me later the next time I mail ordered. I would have been even easier if I had been using a credit card.

Civic91: Don't waist your time, some people are set on the fact that any car that doesn't say Associated or HPI on it, doesn't have parts availible.

Kenny: back when I owned mine, "Xpress" was the name of the car. My old box says "RoadRunner Xpress" on it. Its also been called the "Elite Xpress" or "Elite RoadRunner Xpress" So most people simply call it the Xpress.

Back in the day, the Express was the bomb.

The car was very popular in San Diego for a while. The car was very expensive but it did come with all that nice Red aluminum. The car is fast because it is so light.
