Default Stainless steel screw kit for CRC???

Hi,

I am looking for a stainless steel screw kit (tired of the aluminum screws) for my CRC T fource and the only one that I could find was through RCSCREWZ, but I personally think $24 shipped is very high for a handful of screws.

Just let me know.

Thanks, Mike

stainless steel screws are a softer metal and more suseptable to breaking.. The only benefit of stainless is it wont rust. but if ya got ya hart set on them try ya local boater store.

Hi Alberto,

I appreciate your reply (and avatar), but I think that you maybe mistaken since:

Aluminum AlMgSi1 (EN 6082)
The tensile strength is 330 N/mm2

and

Stainless steel aisi 316 (1.4401)
The tensile strength is 600 N/mm2

Where N/mm2 is Newton per square mm

It has also been my experience that I have had better luck with stainless steel screws than aluminum.
