Save another 30$ and take a long hard look at this charger. Its been getting really great reviews around my area. And has all the goods to make Duratrax a respected name in chargers. Keep in mind most chargers are made offshore so "BRANDING" of a charger should not mean much these days. Some duratrax chargers that are out are also released under the brands APEX and INTEGY

ICE

The LRP Pulsar Sport alias Nosram Sirius can be found for 100$.

That's excluding a powersupply (same goes for the ICE).

The Pulsar/Sirius is very easy to use, it dont even get warm and I havent experienced even one false peak. The packs always comes off nice warm and punchy.

Trickle can be disabled. If the main power fails, the charger continues when the power is back.

If you dont have a power supply, you might consider to use a computer power supply, if you're good at soldering and have a little electronic know-how.

If that's breaking your budget or you dont want to tweak a computer power supply, I strongly recommend going second hand. As you've experienced, a good charger is the way to go. Packs lives longer and perform better.

Maybe you can sell the Twins :D
