Yes, I hope HPI or Protoform also come out with one. As much as I appreciate the effort, this one just lacks detail, IMO. Protoform is supposedly coming out with a VTA body, but no idea what it'll be. I'm hoping for a 2nd Gen F-Body.

The mostly white paint scheme doesn't show much detail, but that's the paint scheme Jerry Titus used in 1970. I think a good painter will be able to detail it nicely. We also did not recess the head lights since that is the way it was raced. Head light decals are included though. It is a VTA specific body, not just another muscle car. The overall fit should be excellent for the VTA cars.

Just got an email from Rob King of USVTA saying he is putting it on the approved list. Thanks Rob!

Myron, Haven't heard anything on the Southern Nats this year. I hope you're planning on having it. I sure enjoy coming down to Music City.

Thank you for your efforts to support this class of racing. I really love the shell and thank you Robk for the fast approval. Now for the task of home made light buckets.

This picture of the McAllister shell, it reminds me of something from my childhood that gives me an idea.

Oh yeah. I remember what it was.

I know some folks are critical of the work because the lines arent as sharp as some, but the shells are known to take a pounding. They make great racing shells. And they do look nice. There is a lot of potential in them, and you dont have to feel sad after your first race with them.
