Novak club doesn't offer any customizing. A used Edge 2s in very good condition can be bought for $70-$75 on this forum. It can be customized for a lot of things including drag brake and initial throttle and brake force. All with just one button. I don't have experience with speed passion.

with SP you can adjust ABS braking, Drag brake & Thermal protection with the optional Program Card ($10).
with HW you can adjust Runing Mode, Drag Brake, Volt Protection, DRRS Punch, Brake Force, Reverse Force, Initial Brake, Neutral Range & Overheat Protection.
Both new for under $60

When all the good drivers show, I don't have a chance of making the A-main...

What are some of the lighter weight bodies for USVTA ? Thanks

The Pegasus bodies are super thin. Not very pretty in my opinion. But if you needed a light body for one very important race, that might be it.
The HPI 68 Camaro is the body of choice by many. I like to be different so I drive a Javelin and 'Cuda, but I'm not in the 1st tier either.

I know a couple of guys who run Pegasus bodies and they both say the Mach One Mustang body is the best choice for durability and weight. They don't call it a Mustang due to paying royalties, but its a Mustang.
I'm the last guy to be suggesting fashion stuff, but Walmart has just started selling some nice vintage racing shirts for NHRA and some muscle cars. The Camaro shirt it pretty cool for VTA guys. I got one today: http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/ip/2...81640&veh=mweb

Gary- the J71 IS the lightest at 97 grams with light paint work but is prone to rear fender body tucks in certain racing incidents. The pegasus is next at about 107 and has the lowest roof line, tricky to fit because of the lack of flashing along the lower body and fender. Then the 65,66,68 hpi bodies at around 130. The 69 Z28 and 70 Boss come in around 150.

If you have to weight 1550 grams and have newer equipment(6.1) it really does not matter to me.I've run the Cuda now going to the RJSpeed Camaro and HPI Challenger. Been smoked by the HPI Camaro and Mustang and another RJSpeed Camaro. I lost the steering screw at the last race in the main. I heard before I got into this the Cuda was top heavy and the only body to get was the HPI camaro. Everyone down here runs the HPI Camaro except me.Run what you want to run and have fun..............
I forgot what types of paint you use also makes a difference in weight. I've been expermenting with different kinds of paints. going back to what I started with.

Yesterday at the 4th annual "Slowbirds" at Horsham raceway we had 27 USVTA entries. Check out the best action pics that I have seen.
