In our cars (69 Camaro, 68 Camaro, 70 Camaro and GT-350 Mustang) we use strapping tape along the side where door and window meet and up front under top of hood. Works really well and havent lost a driver yet <knock on wood>

The battery strap on a TC3 is on the left side. So I mount mine on a post attached to the battery strap. This works well because the extra weight is fixed to the chassis rather than the body. It's hard to observe, but the heavier the body, the more it will sway side to side in high G turns causing tire rub and other issues. It's important to distriibute as much weight as possible low in the chassis and keep the body as light as possible.

That's good to know. I will start talking to the local VTA gang here and see if we can get a car pool together. My neighbor has a Chevy Van that could carry 5-6 people with all their racing gear. Reserve a pit table for me.

Hey DARKSIDE and nashracer, If the 2012 U.S. VTA+ Southern Nationals is pretty much the same (except for the dates) as last year, then is all the info listed below correct?
