I have a loaner VTA car/radio/transponder if you want to race. No charge for the loaner, you only pay for any broken parts. This way you can find out what VTA racing is like with a proven, fast car.

Hope to see you Saturday.

Hey Mark,

That's a very generous offer and under normal circumstances I'd jump on it in a heartbeat (even though I'm scared to death I'd wreck the car or other people since I haven't raced in 16yrs!). Unfortunately I just can't make it work tomorrow The next race should be no issue though if you let me know when it is! We have a 3wk old baby and my grandma in law is being moved to rehab tomorrow so LOTS going on around here.

Is it ok if I PM you for some other questions I have about racing at Easley?

Thanks!

Any idea besides "mid August" as to when the VTA tires are going to come off back order at tower. About to cancel and order straight from proline.

Maybe people who are buying multiple sets (more then 2) could let other people get at least one set. ( who only have thin slick balloons) until production can meet demand

I got to see a set of the new Protoform VTA tires. There are several things I noticed.

Tread appeared shorter
Gap between treads appeared a bit larger
Sidewalls appeared a bit smaller

Can anyone else comment on the differences they have noticed. I still have a set of unopened HPI VTA tires, but I didn't have them with me at the track to do a direct comparison.

Side walls are definitely stiffer

Has anyone tried the new tires on pavement yet?
And if you had do they hold up better?
