This is actually a GREAT body to race with on smaller indoor tracks. Has great handling with loads of steering. If it's too much, just mount the wing about 1.5mm back from the wing indents to help balance it better. Tried it outdoors on a bigger track and it just has too much wind resistance. I ran this body in USGT until it was banned for no logical reason.

Don't know if this has been posted yet but it looks like the Tires are beginning to be available again. Just got 2 sets from my LHS.

I'm getting the parts together to build a VTA car but am really getting irritated at all the secrecy concerning the wheels and tires. Roar should know what's going on as they have to approve them. Since it's going to be club racing I'm going to suggest that we go to another tire. Gravity's that are used in USGT might be an already proven choice. Don't like the wheels but the tires sure hold up. My first choice would be CRC WGTR tires as the look would be more suited to VTA. Wheels would be the problem here. I don't know if there are any other wheels these tires would fit on. Anybody else thinking along these lines?

Our LHS just got in a decent supply of HPI VTA tires yesterday. Hopefully this means that they will start being available everywhere again very soon.

Dirla,
On that black carpet, less traction might be ideal. You might already have the hot setup.
