Most opt for the low profile S9551 in touring cars, but I've been able to find the S9452 for a lot less (as little as $45 shipped from folks here on RCTech!). BTW, the 9452 is "medium" profile. Not quite standard size, but not as slim as the low profile ones. If you're on a really tight budget, I've had good luck with the Solar D770, a low profile $17 servo. Light and quick, dirt cheap, but noisy.

Others to consider: Savox 1251, Spektrum 6070 (same thing), Futaba BLS551...

Maybe I will look into Futaba, I hate the noise digital servos make..

Dave, it's not warm here by Texas standards but its a hell of a lot warmer than it is there in SD. Stay warm my friend and come back and race with us soon, well not too soon until it gets back above 50F so they will set up the track - we are wimps here in TX and below 50 seems to be too cold to race outdoors.

PS I hope the Barn is heated

LOL Thanks john!
The "Barn" is heated, and I WILL be back to The Austin area soon, and would love to race in the SAT venue, too! I'll have to watch the weather and choose a "warmer" time to race..

Hi,

I am setting up my extra Xray T4 for VTA. What size offset HPI wheels would fit best? I will be using the HPI Dodge Charger body. Thanks.

31mm with a 6mm offset in rear, 26mm with 0mm offset front. If you go to the US Vintage Trans Am site, they have the part numbers of the half dozen or so styles that are legal. All are HPI.

The HPI 1970 Charger body is USVTA legal, sorry. Next time check the rules.

Don't worry, you're not alone in your misconception. I corrected a local track owner this past Thursday.
