Ok in the rules it clearly states what rims are ok. However it lists every single rim that fits the Vintage "d" tire. In other words if this rim was to be made it should be accepted because we all know the vintage tires do not fit on any other rim but the vintage.

Lost? In other words this should not be an issue.

But I can see the argument here. We would still need the front and rears to work in the first place. Will I drop cash to this guy? Damn right I will I would look good on my new body I am making. Tires get tested not rims. considering PJ found proof they are used on a current car on the circuit then there should be no issue here. Once I have the funds I am backing this guy up and ordering my sets as well.

How are you laying down the antenna wire inside the vta bodies?

If you have a newer Ballistic motor, then you will need to also loosen the three screws that hold the can together as well as loosen the three screws on the end bell to allow it to move.

I had to do this recently on my newer motor. On my older Ballistic, I just had to loosen the three screws on the end bell.

Most of us are running 2.4Ghz radios which have very short receiver wires.

Even on the old systems you can usually bend the aerial tube with a hair dryer and fit it under the VTA shell.

I gave the guy $45 on his rims. I hope he makes it.

I am just rooting for the guy. I mean look at it. He has a prototype rim that you can see there. I think the rims are cool but thats not even the point for me. Right now I am just rooting for him. This guy could be an ally for many things for us VTA racers. I think he deserves our support. I plan on pestering him for a Falcon VTA body later.

I need your opinions. I have been filming VTA races from 2 different angles. Take a look at the videos below and tell me which of the 2 looks better.
Video #1 is filmed from the East end of the track: http://youtu.be/G6eYnxqm9So
Video #2 is filmed from the West end of the track: http://youtu.be/QfRMHr86GaI

If you are just planning on having a one camera shoot then I think one is as good as the other. Maybe the first one shows a little more. I would love to have multiple camera shoots for all races with live switching.
