nope, the gtb3 has to wait another 6 months otherwise there will be a complete melt and breakdown and the weight will be dropped to 1247

I hope that Flying M is watching and saw RobK's post about the class "needing more Cougar".
Or the Epps, maybe.

Scott, you have a pm (I didn't see the purchase notification before I sent it, only the question)

Tell me what you think. This may be a good experiment to try out. Cut the nose off a HPI '68 Camaro body and replace it with a nose from the PROTOform '71 Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am. If it's done well, you should end up with the body in the pic below (minus the hood scoops).

@wwddww34, I've asked the same question. Some have shared pics where it has been done before. With the current issues with getting the HPI Camaro bodies, this seems like an opportunity ripe for the picking.

So I have a question... oh no... not this again. I have a HPI camaro body I am getting rid of. I am trying to sell it as part of a VBC VTA package I am putting together. Should I leave clear and sell it separate at a premium, (good old supply and demand) or paint it up. I have a really cool design in mind. I think several people on here would love it. Especially NutDriver. Lets just say I hope these bodies wont soon see extinction.

Is your target buyer a noob, or a veteran?

A noob is going to want it painted so he's ready to race. A veteran is going to want it clear and not your idea of what a good paint job is...

I'd leave it clear. One man's nice paint scheme is another man's eye sore.

If it's for VTA, paint it with LEAD based paint.

Get it? Lead?

Hey there, Timmy!
How would you like to take a break from that fine lead-based paint... and learn about Dodgeball?

Tonight I'm going to race VTA locally. I'm going to have fun win or lose because...

- I get to hang out with friends who enjoy the same things I do.
- I get to play with 'toy' cars and no one else at the track will think it is weird.
- I get to race cool looking cars.

And finally...
- I will get to help other people have some fun too.

I hope everyone else has a good weekend of racing.

Bronson,

I agree with the Noob versus Non-noob answer on the Camaro. Sorry we won't see you on Sunday.

With this in mind, I would love to see the Dodge Dart, the Ford Falcon, the Mercury Cougar, and the 69 Firebird made so we could have a full field of choices. I've been hoping that someone would make the 69 Firebird nose so we could cut the nose off of the Camaro and put this one on and maybe change tail light decals for a (more accurate than Pegasus) model.
There are pictures on google images of Robert Hampton's 1969 Barracuda Fastback. It is not on the list but obviously raced. I would love someone to make a body of that car.
