a lot of details are still in the works for the US VTA Southern Nats...some things will remain, and some changes to make things alot more smooth and get ppl done on Sunday early to get back on the road...

I will post the final flyer and info in the next few days...here is what we have for sure

Sunday Sept 23rd
track opens 7am for practice
8am starts LCQ followed by mains

we will be tight run on Sunday to try and finish before 4pm

cool...I hope to reset the attendance from last year...I have a list already and its growing already...lol

Hope more of the Scale Nat guys get to come as well...maybe I will get to run some laps with you guys again

just charged my 5000 Reedy from the Scale Nats 20 min A-main....4020 was put back...7.76 to start...WOW...and my car still was puchy...

Here's a pic of racers in Southern California. Tony Phalen (the guy with the Renault T-Shirt) is the ROAR F1 Champion and ROAR VTA Champion. When he was at the ROAR Carpet Nats in Dallas last month, Tony said that he wanted to get a VTA class started in So. Cal. It looks like there's at least one more VTA driver in this pic.

they look cold?....So Cal?...man I just got back from up North and was still rocking shorts and T's....

But thats cool....Tony needs to come to the Nats in Sept, along with Natt and Dave and help me decide who is the Triple Crown Champion...

Thats at least a solid USGT car. Or RCSports car, but it lacks the legal wheels and tires to be VTA.

I got the scoop from Tony about that picture. That particular track in So. Cal. has a fledgling VTA class. 4 guys showed up to race VTA that morning. We need to cheer them on. Let them know how much fun VTA is.
