What size wheel hexes are you guys using? I have 4mm on my car now but thinking about getting 6mm or 7mm to push the wheels out more to fill out the body. Any of you doing that?

similar question as posted above, I have 2 xray T3 2012's and have a variety of hexes in various widths, which one is common to use to get to the maximum width?

Just gotta be careful about running out of threads on the axle. Might be better to change offset than to change hex width.

Oops. Forgot that this was VTA, which means no offset change.
Just be careful not to run out of threads on the axle when you go to wider hexes.

I do! I can't stand when the wheels/tires are sucked way inside the body. Looks like poo....and isn't realism what VTA is all about? I'm currently running 6mm front and 5mm rear hexes. I've run as wide as 6mm all around, as well. That being said, I will run narrower hexes if the handling is suffering. Generally speaking, the car still handles really well with the wider hexes. This is referring to a TC6 and Xray T4 on both carpet and asphalt.

Cool thanks for the feedback. I have a Sakura Zero S and I just want the rears to be pushed out just a little bit. It handles great as is, and hopefully it won't change adding a couple mm's of width to it.

On my TC4 I use 3mm offset front and 1.1mm offset rear hexes.

@Mopar,
Who makes the hexes you mention using on your TC4?

Associated
FRONT & REAR

You will need the steel cva's for the front, they have a longer axle and you will need low profile nuts for all 4 wheels.
