Default Full of bs

I ran my motor all week and only took it out of the car to be teched. Anybody that blew a motor was own user error pushing them to hard. I have been dynoing the three novak 25.5 motors I have the last couple nights and two are really close but on is a dud and one of the poles of that motor must have a extra wrap cause the numbers are way higher. Also the gains by timing advance are huge past the 40 deg mark . Surprisingly enough the numbers between the reg rotor and graded weren't that different motor dropped 800 rpm with the stronger rotor

I have driven 18-20 different peoples cars each with a different novak motor, once I have them change their setup, same lap time as my car, within .2

I think the bodies have more difference than the motors I have seen

we did have one guy running an epoxy stator and the old high spec rotors, 1300+, they used to sell it was still only .3 faster on single fastest lap, than my car and I still won the race as I ran the whole race with max .2 variance per lap
Actually I believe you had a 1 second difference between your fast and slow lap . If you had .2 you would be on haras level.!!!

it wasn't this years cup race the guy ran the epoxy stator, it was ahile ago 1 year +

this year I ran a totally new to me never run car, spec-r s1

And you are correct at the cup race this year max lap difference in the main .97 secs, take out that one slow lap where traffic totally screwed me and the max difference was .64 and 16 of the 23 full laps less than .4

You are fun! When you going to come down and beat us in 10.5 and VTA?

What bodies are the most popular? I've been running the HPI 70 Boss Mustang and really like the looks and feel, but I would like to try something different. I've been waiting for the HPI 68 Camaro to be in stock somewhere, but is there something better/faster.

Second question:

I was upgrading my TC6 to use TC6.1 arm parts and sway bar system. I always liked the box stock TC6 set up with a couple variations to oil and such. Is the TC6.1 box stock setup a good option to start with after the additions or should I look for something different?

I currently run:

TC6 Stock setup
70 Boss Mustang body
Gear diff front (putty) and rear (30wt)
Novak Edge Ballistic Boss combo 3.69fdr
RSD DCJ's, bladders, 1x1x1.5 pistons and springs, drilled caps
USVTA spec tires and rims
1552 gr.

looks good to me...I run a spool up front...but mostly box stock setup works....

You'll get as many different answers as people that respond.

All of the really fast drivers at our track use the Protoform J71 (Javelin).

One still insists on trying to win with a TC4 and the big square box (Dodge/Plymouth) bodies. He does make it work.

I run the '68 Camaro. I like the way it glances off of walls better!

About to do the body of a 65 MUSTANG and I am wondering what has been done for spoilers since the hpi one doesn't come with one, well it comes with that touring car one.

Also the rules state 20mm chord. What is that exactly ?

Pics would help

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chord_(aircraft)

"In aeronautics, chord refers to the imaginary straight line joining the leading and trailing edges of an airfoil"

Here is a good pic to show you what the "chord" measurement of a car's rear spoiler looks like.
