+1
For the past few months I have tried the Trinity-Epic Titanium Racing 5000mAh LiPo. I found out that this Lipo is actually rated for 50C continuous drain even though the battery has "90C" in big letters on its sticker.
.

My buddy is running VTA with a Team EAM 5000mah 70C LiPo and I really like it's performance ratings and the price is very reasonable for such a LiPo. I plan to use the Team EAM battery at Snowbirds. I ordered 2 batts on TeamEAmotorsports.com.

The only problem is that supply is not keeping up with the demand for the Team EAM 7.4V 5000mah 70C batteries. Looks like they are out of stock.

I do like his use of the term "pre-order". So much more positive than "back-order".

He is only a one person company. They are so good he cant keep them in stock. Especially this close to Snowbirds. Once they are in stock I would jump on them.

Sorry for not seeing the replies earlier. I dont visit this thread as often as I should.

I have been out of stock for a couple of weeks on the 5000 VTA packs. The good news is I have them on the way and will be here by next Thursday just in time for the Snowbirds. I'll be there in the Xray pits. Just stop by and say hi and I'll be glad to get you take care of. I am bringing all I get in to the Birds with me and delivering them to the Hobby shop.

And I am not sure why it show's preorder. It should default to "Out of stock" as I HATE having guys think they must preorder or prepay for something. Nothing worse than paying for something then waiting for weeks to get it! I'll go change it now so it show's out of stock until I get the exact date I'll have them. Then I will put them up on there for sale again.

Thanks!
EA

I too can speak for the EA 70c 5000mAh packs. I've been flogging 2 of them since the VTA Southern Nats last year, running nearly ever weekend and the packs aren't any less powerful than the other 2 packs I got a month or so ago. I run them in my USGT car also and they are all the power it wants also. Great battery, great price, dedicated racer owned company, can't go wrong!

I can tell you first hand that the EAM 5000's are sick for VTA. Do yourself a favor and grab a couple of packs. EA's a good dude and has quality products at a great price!

Very cool! Thanks for your feedback, bertottius and alloyslash, on EA's 5000mah LiPo batteries. I will definitely look him up when I get to Snowbirds in 11 days.

First I thought this was a 70. Now I wonder if its a 70 nose on a 78.

Still love the car and the wheels.

Its not a '70 as you suspect. the proof is the wrap around back glass, rubber rear bumper cover, 3pc rear spoiler, bullet style mirror.

And let this be a lesson for anyone that wants to open the motor mfg's up. 1 motor means we don't need to worry about the same problem.
