I think it may be my transmitter. Which radio do you use?

question:
Was the Driver configuration was written on the USVTA Rules from the beginning when they first started this classes back in the day?

I could be wrong .I thought is was added later in the rules after the VTA kick off become popular

Default 1550?

I wouldn't mind seeing USVTA rules change the min 1550 gram weight rule down to maybe 1450... So many race ready sedans are easily well under 1450 now with LiPo and the added weight requirement pulls a handful of potential "sedan class" racers away from VTA participation.

Let's go 1450, hip hip horay!

I ran one from the start...but it became a rule later down the road....sorry..lol

1550 is needed for the older chassis...my TC3/4 are at 1560/80 with no added weight....its easier to add weight than to get rid of it..

Any chance they are throwing in airfare in your entry fees?

I also agree that we need to keep the weight rule as is... We have almost half the field running TC3/TC4 based chassis and they would be at a huge dis-advantage at 1450. I do agree it takes alot of weight to get the newer chassis up to spec, but still really not that big of a deal in my mind.

Thx for the insight, and from dark side as well. I hadn't realized the TC3's and 4"s carried that much weight. And so I'm with you, VTA is meant to keep the older models alive. Thx
