Default USVTA Scale Nationals

Sorry Guys, I was out sick for few days. Here's some info and a flier for the USVTA Scale Nats this year.

April 12 will be practice
April 13 will be 3 quals
April 14 will be last chance qualifier and mains (Triple A's for all classes)

We've expanded the class line up this year to give more folks the chance to enjoy the weekend. This year's classes are:

USVTA
USGT
Mini
17.5 Stock TC
13.5 1/12 Scale

Eric at The Track (Our fabulous race director) will be getting on-line signups up at rcsignup.com in the next couple days.

Race fees are
$35 for first class
$20 each additional class

This race is always a boatload of fun and there's always a twist (look for that coming up....)

Attached is a flier with all the pertinent details. Don't hesitate to ask questions here, send me a PM, or call Eric @ The Track (847-246-1762)

I'll have info on hotels and such soon. We're getting additional sponsors on board so look for that soon also.

Come on out and see if you have what it takes to take home the championship belt this year.

Here is also a link to a thread I started for the race:

Yes, they're all about the same price, but that isn't what drives cost to the racers.

When the next company makes a 17.5 that is 5% faster, everyone has to run out and get one of those. Then a third company comes out with one faster than that, and it obsoletes all of the others, and everyone is buying another new motor. This leapfrogging effect is what drives up cost. Even if every brand of motor is $84.99.

Default Novak Edge

Anybody else have this problem and perhaps a fix? I can't get any brake into my Egde. I have all the drag brake and every brake setting on the ESC turned all the way up.

Even if all you can do with it is run it on your driveway, you'll still be glad you got one! TC3 is a great choice. Tower Hobbies still has most parts if your LHS doesn't, and of course eBay.
