Short and to the point.

Why can't all the questions regarding the rules be answered that simply and efficiently.

Thank you, gentlemen.

I never said it was a 'stupid' question, just gave you my honest response to them. Perhaps instead of wording it 'who cares?' I should have said 'throw it down and go!' and yes, maybe the last comment was a bit sarcastic...my apologies to you Marv.

Rob gave the final word anyway, so I guess that's that, right?

It's all good.
No apology necessary.

I have a biker mentality add to that being a bit long in the tooth =
First thing a biker asks after an accident is, "How's my bike?"

If I drop while racing, I'd like to know that my car finished the race even if I wasn't on the trigger.

Heading out myself, in a few.

I'm a rider too, Marv. Unfortunately I've asked that question before...

Good answers.
Short and to the point.
Not much compassion for a "fallen" driver, but that's racing.
Thank you.
a couple years ago a racer from Cleveland had a heart attack the week of the indoor champs in the hotel not during his race or marshalling but while racing was going on. He did not get a substitute as part of amateur racing at this level is "you race you win" not "you race your team sponsors and car owner win" Ask Dale Earnhardt JR how HE finished in the points in Nascar this year and how many points he lost while out for the concussion. He's substitute driver got car owner point but he did not get driver points for JR he got driver points for himself. It's not lack of compassion it's "if I wasn't racing I wouldn't care how my car finished" as it wasn't me winning it was another driver.

Nice 'bird man! Always wanted to hop on one, have yet to get the opportunity...

anyway, last night's racing went rather well. at the end of my first heat I was 4 laps and nearly 3 seconds off the pace, but made a pinion change, calmed myself down for the next two rounds, and managed fourth in the B out of 8(qualified 6th). The car is perfect, just gotta get the dork holding the radio to drive it better...
