Most people I know run a front spool. If you run a diff you will want to use about 500,000wt diff fluid. You want the front to be as locked as possible.

I run a Yokomo SD which is very similar in layout to the TC4. It came with ball diff's front and rear. I like them fine for carpet, but on asphalt I like a spool. If you run ball diff's run the front one a little bit tighter.

Since they are selling the car new it would be great if you could get gear diffs for it. I love them in my photon. The front one is almost a spool with just a bit of give to it and the back one rolls around quite freely. I still suck as a driver but that thing goes where you point it. They should call it a Glock.

the only touring cars i ever had was tc3 ft. i love touring car until it got so expensive buying foam tires, so i quit touring, but with the tc4 comming out as a kit, it has made me want a us vta to rac.

the only cool thing is that i found a new in the box tc4 ft car with all the graphite chassis.

Shouldn't that be a 2j body instead of a j71?
I have no idea what you are talking about?

Edge is better in the aspect that you can dial in dragbreak, throttle power, deadband, etc. The Club is locked out and doesn't have reverse. With the Edge you'll have an ESC that is alot more versatile and that would work for other classes of racing. I have a Club 17.5 system in my xxx-scb and I regret ever getting that ESC, makes for a long walk when you get against the wall while practicing

I believe Waflet is referring to the Chapparal 2J. He must be old enough to remember it!
