If not does somebody have a picture of what they are talking about?
My interpretation of this rule is a spoiler like you see being used on the rear of a current NASCAR race car (not the COT wing). Hopefully Rob can be more specific, but a link to a photo on the rules website might help clear up any confusion.

-----------

I've run most of the legal VTA bodies, and a rear spoiler isn't necessary for a good handling car. It is just another tuning option. If you choose to run any of the HPI cars that come with rear spoilers and lose the spoiler during a race, you might notice that your car may experience oversteer/become loose.

I find it more common that I'm trying to free up the rear of my car in part due to the 31mm rear tires having a lot of grip. I should add that I'm running a front ball-diff and I tend to late brake/drive deep into corners, so my experience on the track might be different than other racers.

The only Mustang that has an allowable wing is the 17546.

What this rule means is that when measured from the deck vertically, the top of the wing can be no more than 16mm. The length of the plastic measured from where it originates from the trunk can be no more than 20mm. So what it says is that there must be some angle to the spoiler.

And yes, a NASCAR spoiler would be an apt comparison.

Well said Kris. I believe that U.S. VTA is the best thing to happen to On-Road R/C Racing. VTA has the potential to be as big as the Short Course Trucks are right now in Off-Road.

If a Tekin speedo is connected to a Novak motor, isn't there going to be a thermo-nuclear reaction?

lol...no it will do just fine...I know you guys are joking, but some ppl freak out about some motors not working with some esc's...

The Novak and Tekin will work fine together...I ran a Tekin in sedan w/ 17.5 Novaks and never had an issue, so we should be good...Im trying the HW Justock in my TC4 w/ reman Novak ss 25.5, and its working really good..
