There must be a issue with someone because if you order s6625 from stormer hobbie or amain hobbie you will receive a red wire stator.

I never heard nor seen the part number s6625re. You may want to research this.

Now that you mention it, the 25.5 from my Edge combo has a red wire stator..... I'm fairly certain.

S6625RE is the part # for a 25.5 VTA red wire epoxy dipped stator. Irt is still listed in the build a Ballistic order form on the website. This stator would only be good for a track with a really, really, really long straight with a 3.0 average FDR (Think Gulf Coast Raceway in Porter TX). Also realize that it would have to be local club rules because this stator, cut end bells and the SmCo rotor are all illegal for national USVTA rules. Ceramic motor bearings are legal but they make you a dork. Quote from the USVTA rules:

Ballistic motors must not be advanced beyond the last line of the timing range sticker. 12.3 mm rotor diameter only (no "tuning" rotors are allowed, only stock Novak rotors allowed). Using ceramic bearings in the motor makes you a dork. No modifications or optional parts allowed on motor can, endbell, stator, or rotor. No cooling holes or other changes allowed to motor.

I replaced my stator in my Edge/Ballistic 25.5 after running the Southern Nationals because I fought a binding issue in my car, causing it to get 180* a few times. The original one was red wire, and the s6625 I replaced it with was also red wire. I compared the two and there was no visible difference between the wire diameters.

The debate was about if you order PN#s6625 you will receive a red wire stator w/o epoxy.

Someone else stated that the red wire is pn# s6625re

I clearly no the rules, but my statement earlier was if you order pn# s6625 you will receive a red wire stator. I don't believe they are making the gold wire stators anymore.

Quoting the USVTA rules about the use of ceramic bearing makes you an "Uber Dork"!

Here's a T-Shirt for you
