I'm putting a '70 Superbird wing on my '68 Camaro this season, calling it a period spoiler, and game on. Rules, schmules. (Leisure Hours racers beware. )

+1 for karaoke during a race as an optional main variation.

Our local track always had the radio on during the races last year... I'd gladly take karaoke over trying to run a main with Poison playing in the background.

I'd love to see a little background hair band action at the Nats this summer.... see if I'm not the only one that can't race and try to ignore 'talk dirty to me' (and the golf-ball sized bumblebees) at the same time.

well here is the skinny...Ive been running the HPI 65/66 Mustang since VTA started...and has always ran the spoiler....Ive been to every US VTA Nationals (but 1) and more VTA races than most from Florida to Wisconsin and everywhere in between.....and have never had one person say one thing about it but "COOL"....

US VTA official races....with head ppl and Godfathers of the class there...and none of them have ever said a word...

and its not like Im making this up...check my cars....

Forget the rules. You put a Chevy part on a Ford. Bad darkside.

Hotrod. HT runs a "hot Rod" VTA to have guys like myself who run one class and only have one car. USVTA does not have this as a true class. In other words its a club thing and is not supported in major events.

your right it's a club thing that we are starting this sunday, but our club has allowed many non approved bodies. The rules are well....... I love the 25.5 motor rules, ESC rule, weight rule and bodies, but I love all the pre 1979 bodies. I like the old hotrod look very much.

Not sure if this is the right place to post. But anyway.
Hey guys i have a slight issue. I will be using a 416we for vta, so my problem is that when i put on the front wheels they rub the inside of the steering knuckle, also when at full steering lock it rubs the bottom shock eylet.. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix.. Thanks for any tips.
