4.) None of the above. If this option please explain.
I think you might be talking about end points rather than expo. You should not have any expo dialed into the throttle while you calibrate the speed control. Novak speed controls set very reliably and you generally don't need to do anything special other than follow the instructions. However, if you think you are having problems finding full throttle or full brake, set the throttle end point to 98%, calibrate, then set the end point back to 100%.

I turn on reverse, so I don't have to leave the driver's stand as much while I'm practicing.

the 140% is for nitro where you need more throw for the throttle servo

Looking for a good VTA chassis if anyone has anything. Been looking online but no real luck. I'd like to find something a little older. TC5? T3 2010?

Also are there any chassis a person should just avoid all together?

Stay away from the Traxxas 4-Tec Electric. Very bad performance in that car.

not yet...

but please keep in mind, testing doesnt mean approved...we have tested plenty esc's, and nothing so far...we just want to make sure the right choice is made when adding new esc's or fooling with the rules at all...

Ive got another one to test today as well...

I fully realize that Traxxas makes boatload after boatload of money selling durable hobby grade toys to backyard bashers, but you would think that after years in the hobby that they would produce a few competition worthy machines. You know they have the money and the know how. Surely they could get a TC Pro to CAD them a prototype for the next generation of touring car.
