Got my FF on the track last night. All I can say is WOW, so much fun...
Anyone else have the car ? The build was good, but had a few difficult spots in comparison to the regular 411. |

yes, at first all i could find was the s411 sheets but finally found FFs sheets
but just one and two were blanks. thank you |
not alot of feed back here, Serpent seems to be the FF go to kit,
doesn't seem to be to much interest or passion for these cars right now. at least here. I like what i see but darn. Tamiya is the other only (FF03 )being of notice, heard of a few others. even came up with a concept for cover of the gears (body permitting) for the 411FF. anyway Wildfire here i come. purchase 411FF sometime later. seen price drops at A Main Hobby. $434 to $404 still a nice kit. |
Eric,
There is not much being posted on the car. It is a little spendy for a "fun" or second class. But Serpent has the Sport version on the way. I bet it picks up when that comes along. There are a few guys contemplating getting this kit at my local track.

@Eric, we have pretty much been racing an FF class at NorCal at every single on-road race day since the end of May. It is a small class, usually 4-6 people tops, and will probably remain that way judging by the turnout at the Team Powers Cup recently. So far, it has been either FF03, FF01, and T.O.P. Sabre as far as chassis goes. The fact that an FF01 (my car, but under a much better driver), can mix it up with the newer cars shows just how close the racing is--it's the complete opposite of 4x4 Short Course racing--very tidy driving (much cleaner than even F1 from my experience-I race in both) and cars are typically nose-to-tail for at least half the race. The only spec is 17.5, Blinky ESC, and rubber tires.

when i first saw the car the front gears brought a gleam to my eyes,
and the idea of no belts. but i always liked the all wheel drives and never have done one. buggies, crawler, boats, trains, planes and slot cars, now for the Wildfire. 411FF maybe for my B-day in Oct.------------------------29 years young again! ; |
A Main Hobbies, see 395.00 wow see what happens after a bit.
maybe i will purchase when $30.00 cheaper, CA. TAX SUCKS. 8.75% Sucks. I love shopping other than my own state They are Looney over here ! Was not my fault, WHO CARES! just money but xtra counts. |
