Default Heatsink scoops

I was looking at the TB-02 kits and thinking the Impreza 2004 is going to be my next one (when I get serious $$$; my money's spoken for for quite a while in the forseeable future). Looking at the heatsink for the motor, I'm under the impression it won't get a lot of airflow in that bathtub with a shell over it (hence the reason for the heatsink in the first place; the motor could conceivably melt its mounting). So, would it be worth it to use some scrap polycarbonate from the body and fashion a scoop that'll pull a little more air up from underneath the car for a little more passive airflow on the heatsink? Or, IYO, would that heatsink get enough air to be effective? Would a 40mm fan, which is far simpler to work with, not add enough extra weight or imbalance to be worrisome?

Its called the Ride Air Scoop.

Do a search in the forums with "ride air scoop" with results as posts.

Each pack comes with 2 scoops with slightly different profiles. One for tub chassis cars and the other for double deck chassis cars.
