what motor is this?
 

I got a mod motor in a trade deal, and dont know what it is. It has a black can, gold brush hoods, stand up brushes, bearings, adjustable timing...i know its also a bit older since it doesnt have the capacitor circuit board. Any ideas? Also its for sale if anyone wants to make an offer...its in like new condition. Thanks for ur help!

If my memory serves me right, black can and gold brush hoods was on a trinity d4, check the arm, if it is it will have a stamp on it

i never seen an arm like this one...it has some number and letters on it which read 24S6L

I believe it is also epoxy balanced

It's either a D4 or a D5....can't really tell by the pics, but the oversize solder tabs are only done on the trinity motors....

Either or is a very good motor....

That actually looks like an old GM motor. D5's had big brushes so it wouldnt be that. If it has two long thin vents in it, it could also be an old Reedy Sonic motor.

D4's had black "crinkle" heat paint finish on the cans.

What does it say on the endbell near the bearing?

Your Motor appears to ne an older Trinity Monster horsepower GOLD motor from like the early 90's Late 89 But its hard to tell from the fuzzy pic!
