Found this on their facebook this morning. If it is as good as their T3 conversion kit, this will be a great touring car.

Lookin good! The color is a bit weird though... Green?

gpm-parts.com 03-05-2012 06:49 PM

Look interesting. And the Green sure stand out.

COLD AS ICE 03-05-2012 07:32 PM

I have been speaking with a few guys (not naming names) and word on the street is it will be produced under the crc name, possibly in red instead of green. Not sure though, i'd like to see a price range for it, i have ran two t3's a 2011 and a 2012. My friends 2011 has the VBC conversion and to be honest, its faster then my 2012 in any class on low grip:nod:

Donk 03-05-2012 09:49 PM

VBC in Facebook says the green is a prototype disguise?

I hope the price can be along TC6 price range. Other TCs are getting very expensive!

Same there. My 2012 is 0.2 sec per lap faster with the VBC "f" chassis. :weird: Green, red, pink, whatever the colour this is going to be my next car.

CRC will be selling the car when it comes out. We have been selling the VBC stuff since they started releasing them. When the car is released, it will be under the VBC name, just distributed by CRC.

So far testing has gone very well. As I learn the car and how to drive rubber TC, I have been getting faster and faster. I TQ'd and got third and the Prarie Knights Classic in North Dakota and TQ and won at the Mid Winter Challenge in Fort Collins Colorado. Both the car and I have been improving.

I will be at the Canadian On Road Nationals this weekend in Welland Ontario, testing the latest version.....

Cool. You know you're going to have a ton of people crowding around your pit now, including me. Too bad you're only racing it in blinky, instead of the larger boosted class where all the major competition is.

He is newer to rubber tire racing, i had that discussion with him in January at the Sweep Challenge, so i could understand why he wouldnt be running boosted or modified classes with it. Give it a little while and im sure youll see his name on the A-main board for modified TC.

Dumper- It would be nice if you could try to keep us posted on the performance and how the car is doing while you are there:nod::D

locked 03-06-2012 01:37 PM

There will definitely be a few guys who won't make it easy to take the win in blinky, but not as many as the boosted class and there's not many names that non-locals would recognize. Just makes it a little bit harder to judge the comparative performance.

Best of luck Brian. Looking forward to seeing it.

This is the entry list, by the way

You mean like in 1/12?

All kidding aside, I hear the car is working really well. Found some video:

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Hopefully we'll see him at Mile High.

Where can I buy the car? From CRC? I can't find this kit from their website.

jf813 05-29-2012 02:34 AM

Reedy race

It seems to do quite well in the Reedy race. 2 cars, 1 in the A and the other one finish B1, no bad. ;)

Likes
Pink shocks dont look like anything else on the market
Neither do the bearing cams.
Frankly the plastic looks almost gray instead of black and the machine work and bulkhead color are unique.

Motor mount looks like it could use a little more range for us VTA types, but it looks really nice.
