What is the transmission ratio? A 53 pinion and 96 spur is less than 2.0 to 1.0 ratio.

THX
that 3.15 FDR must be for a real open track.
How are you liking the car? I have the flex chassis conversion on my t3 12 and it is pretty good. I need a little more setup time to make a real assessment.

yea sorry I was thinking about something else when I posted that gear ratio. I ran a 4.15 FDR at Reedy in 13.5.

The car is very good! I see a lot of potential! Car had plenty of rear traction without giving away steering. Seems to be very adaptable to different track conditions too. Low to high grip.

Cheers Max. How are you guys finding the plastic parts on this car? I heard from some people that run this and say it's a bit brittle <--true?

also, any gearing charts like max and min teeth? want to work out spur/pinion combos that fit.
Thanks!

The plastics on this car are a little brittle. Front arms are the only plastic pieces that I have been breaking. But they hold there shape around the hinge pins very well. So slop is not an issue.

I dont have any gearing charts.

Hi Max!

How fast could my new car go with a Novak 13.5 engine geared with at a 57 tooth spur and a 33 tooth pinion (48 pitch) and a TOJ body cut slightly above the cuttline?

Thanks, I am a big fan.

Probably break into the 50mph range atleast! You might have to turn the timing down on the motor since that TOJ body has a lot of drag. Might burn up your ride! Wheelie bar may be needed as well.
