Looks like he finished second in that A3 main. Lots of contact in that race amongst the cars.

I see that they only made 4 sets of springs. Soft, Med-Soft, Med-Hard, & Hard. Does any one know what the spring rates are on these?

I believe the white springs are 21.9 and the red are 17.1. The other rates, I am not so sure.

Thanks for sorting that out IIGQ4U.

Do you guys think that taping in ones pack affects the chassis flex. I know when i fasten my battery, I like to make it as tight as I can, but im also aware that it might prevent the chassis from flexing properly?

Do you have the same concern or how do you mitigate the problem?

It will definitely have an effect on flex if you tape the battery too tightly. I use the center inline battery holders since they allow the battery to pivot and I don't strap the battery down very tightly.

As far as how noticeable the change will be exactly, I don't know, but I do know that there will be a negative effect.

Any pointers on setting this car up for VTA? Gas god already told me about the steering knuckle/VTA wheel fitment issues.

No more pointers for running this chassis in VTA class?

I really hope that the VTA "Ghost" version becomes a reality and it comes to North America (CRC). I was very very close to buying the Wildfire but the hobby shop couldn't get the Dynamics version from CRC. I ended up buying the Schumacher Mi5 for touring but I still really like the VBC. A VTA specific configuration would be enough of an excuse to own 2 of the coolest touring car chassis available.

I know Dave Erlich has been running one in our scale spec class with vta tires and body, but 1450g min weight and a 21.5. I don't think he's on the forum, though.
